Hi, all. As fcaron indicates - Solarwinds is writing to the Cisco Discovery Service (CDS) API for this submittal function.
Couple of clarifications:
if you work for a Cisco Partner - your CCO login associated with that partner ('Level 3 or above') is what will get you access to the Cisco Discovery Service
- for both uploading data and pulling reports from the CDS portal
CDS and KTN will provide you the following summarized features:
- network inventory and asset management using 'validated serial numbers' (can be different from what you see in SNMP or CLI output)
- PSIRTs and Field Notices mapping
- EoX reporting
- Service Contract (SmartNet) coverage status and renewals
- Last Date of Support deadlines

- CDS Dashboard (after you submit your first engagement) - Cisco CDS 360 Dashboard (reporting)
Your Cisco Partner - They can use a free program at Cisco to assist you - CDS w/ integrated KTN Service Program
Your Cisco account team - Same programs are used by Cisco internal account teams

(KTN is integrated with Cisco Discovery Service (CDS) - so one collection gets you both reporting services, covering both hardware and software analysis).
