Multiple Users - How do we affect each other

Good day all.  I just started working for a company that uses Solarwinds.  I wanted to ask a question about what effect making changes on one user account has to other user accounts. 

We have our main account and it is setup and in use.  I have created an additional administrator account for myself so I can become familiar with Solarwinds features.

From all appearances and information I have gathered, the devices monitored in Solarwinds were added manually so I believe this limits some of the features available in Network Atlas.

I wanted to see if my running a network discovery on my account will affect the views of other accounts. 

I know this is a simple question but since I am the new guy I don't want to affect what we have in our main account at all.
