Jiri,
No, I wouldn't change my support case from "WPM does not work with Ctrl+... keystroke" to "WPM does not work with my website".
Try to understand that my expectation for WPM to record shortcut keys / combo keystrokes is not unrealistic. Keystroke combinations are supported by every browser out there. SharePoint uses keystroke combinations. IBM WebSphere Portal uses keystroke combinations. SAP uses keystroke combinations. My website is running Oracle JDE ERP (a tier 1 application). To say that WPM should not have to support combo keystrokes is unrealistic.
The problem of mine with WPM is not the recording of the script. It does that. Its the replay that is not working. And the replay does not always fail.
By using keystrokes instead of mouse clicks I hoped to bypass the problem with the spanned elements on the recorded script. I don't understand why you would bother recommending it if it can't even do a basic keystroke combination (for example CTRL + F).
