Encountered a strange issue this morning, basically I received 2 alerts that were triggered by an ADFS 2.0 event ID. When I went to log into the server in question to take a look at the events I noticed that they had occurred nearly 24 hours prior but this was the first time I was receiving the alert. Shortly thereafter I then received 2 "node down" alerts for machines that were 100% online. A colleague ended up rebooting our main Orion server and it seems to have settled down since the reboot. I went to check server event logs and noticed a huge amount of DCOM event 10009 errors in the system log, I could not go back to a point prior to the errors happening as it had filled up to the max size. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this sort of delayed alert notification before, any input is appreciated.
