Re: Using NCM Policy Rules for Remediation

Ah!! The web interface has hyperlinks.  Why didn't I think of that?  There was I thinking they were just icons with no use.  I can now sleep at night.

 

After your hint, I can confirm that in NCM 7.0.2 the NCM web page does the same behaviour you describe in NCM 7.1.1.  In the GUI on the NCM server for 7.0.2 the violationicons do not appear to do anything if you just single click on them.  You need to double click on the icon to get a 'Policy Rule Violation Details...' dialog to be displayed.  This is similar to the web page that is displayed when yoo single click on the violation icon in the web interface.

 

Thanks for your help.  If only the supplied documentation was a little clearer and complete on the use of the remediation scripts.
