The alert you configured is fairly straightforward and should work as-is. I'm not sure I follow your workaround but you should ensure that you are running the same versions of all modules on both your primary Orion server, as well as each additional poller. This remains true for all service packs and hotfixes as well. I would also suggest re-running the configuration wizard on both the primary and each additional polling engine to see if that resolves the issue. If you continue to have problems with alerts not triggering when they should, I suggest opening a support case so we can investigate the issue further.
