- What was life like before using SolarWinds? Life Was tough before we deployed SolarWinds, our network wasnt very large and we had few outages (thankfully) however we didnt use any monitoring tools and we relied on our end users reporting issues to us - not ideal.
- Which SolarWinds product(s) saved your bacon? SolarWinds Orion - we get alerts when things break and have a chance to fix before users even notice. Config Manager has saved me a couple of times when critical switches at remote sites were struck by lightning.
- Did you consider other options, and why did you choose SolarWinds? Yes we have considered other options, but solarwinds just works and that's what we need. A product that does what it says it will do.
- How has life been since you've rolled out SolarWinds in your environment? Life has been great - being on call is a far better experiance with no nasty suprises at 3am for an issue that happened at 6pm. Configs are saved in a central place, everything is peachy
