Windows 2012 still supports SNMP protocol/agent so you may use NPM for Windows boxes monitoring as usually.
For the future we may change the polling to WMI (already exists for Orion Nodes) or CMI as MS suggests. But we will wait now in order to see how the situation with SNMP will look like with Windows 2012 service pack.
